The Road Not Taken By Robert Frost - 973 Words

In the poem â€Å"The Road Not Taken† by Robert Frost, the narrator approaches â€Å"two roads diverged in a yellow wood,† both looking fairly equal to one another (Frost 1). One path expresses slightly more wear in the grass than the other. Frost tells how the narrator traveled the road less taken, making all the difference in the end. Life is about decisions; some may be challenging, others simple, and sometimes life changing. My challenging decision took me down a rocky path my senior year deciding a career. There are numerous careers and colleges to choose from; however, a student can only choose one. Unlike the majority of my classmates, my career ideas switched, what seemed like, every month. The beginning of my senior year I had a full ride scholarship to Cowley County Community College, but I was already dead set on attending Wichita State to be a nurse, following in my mother’s footsteps. After hearing about her horror stories of being a nurse, from being pooped on to patients dying, I decided I could not handle the emotional roller coaster that accompanied being a nurse; however, I knew I wanted to go into the medical field. With the struggle of choosing what I wanted to do for the rest of my life coming to a time limit, my mom brought my attention to physical therapy. After researching more on physical therapy, I learned their job involves guiding the patient back to health from an injury. The Crime Coefficient Of The Correctional Facility

From the moment they were born, all humans were categorised into either regular people or latent criminals. This was all judged by a person s crime coefficient – a number between zero and five hundred which determined the likelihood of one committing a crime. This was usually calculated based on emotion, but some were unfairly born with crime coefficients above or dangerously close to one hundred which was the cut off mark as far as The System was concerned. The System placed latent criminals into The Correctional Facility where potential burdens to society were either given therapy or handed to the police department as hunting dogs if they scored enough on several aptitude tests taken at some point in their lives. He d have been called a madman if he told anyone else, so he decided to go alone to clarify something that could unravel the wh ole System. After witnessing his partner getting slaughtered during an investigation, his father s crime coefficient shot up due to distress and he was instantly carted off to The Correctional Facility. But there was no explanation as to what they were going to do. No mention of therapy, no mention of his father being demoted to a mere enforcer, no nothing. In fact, the only reason Lev knew his father was taken to The Correctional Facility in the first place was because he happened to have very limited access to documents concerning inhabitants of the building thanks to his job. Lev was running out of time and he knew it. The tranquilliser he shot at the man preciously using the main office s computer would only last for a limited time. He had more darts which he was more than willing to use if it could bring him closer to finding out the truth about his father, but they d just make it easier to detain him. Method: 2. Cut magnesium ribbon into 15 20mm strips  ±0. 5mm 3. Fill measuring cylinder with 100ml  ±0. 1ml water. Invert inside an ce-cream container. Fill container with water. 4. Take the 5 mol dm-3 acid and pipette 5ml  ±0. 1ml of acid into each 3 test tubes. Insert delivery tube into measuring cylinder under water and prepare bung above the boiling tube. 5. Pour one test-tube into the boiling tube. Place one piece of 2cm  ±0. 5cm magnesium into the tube, affix bung to the tube and begin the stopwatch 6.
